Beyond Blue is a companion project to BBC’s “Blue Planet II.” When the game was launched, it was nominated for:
“Best Indie Game PR/Marketing Campaign of 2020.”
Led the creative team responsible for:
Concepting and creation of key art assets for storefronts, press, etc (above and right)
Tradeshow/convention presence.
Storyboard, scripting, recording, and editing trailers
Social media and press campaign assets.
Development of the official soundtrack.
Direct, film, and edit the “Ocean Insight” videos.
There are few things in the world like taking the concepts you’ve been working on and putting them in front of tens of thousands of people at a convention.
The launch trailer was the culmination of a two-year awareness campaign. The launch went successfully enough that we were featured on Steam’s homepage for a majority of launch day.
